But when we do get into a situation where other buyer’s want it, the process can be tricky. The main thing to know is that there are no real rules to how they should be handled. Some sellers will receive an offer and feel obligated to respond to them in the order they came in, one person at a time. Others will just accept an offer without letting the other agents know, which can be a little frustrating. Most will request what is called a highest and best offer, giving everyone the right to put their best foot forward. The seller then chooses the best, and will work with just that one. Regardless of what happens, I will do my best to find out as many details as I can and keep you informed every step of the way.
