We’ve all heard that real estate is all about location, location, location… but let’s elaborate.
Sure, being close to the town, or the beach might be nice, but what’s most important is your day to day life.
Think about the circles that you travel in. Where do you work? Do you love Starbucks? Where is the nearest gym? How about your children’s school?
Before deciding on a home, I suggest you drive your potential commute in the morning and in the afternoon during rush hour traffic…
You should also think about kids stuff..
Are they on the swim team? How far away is the pool?
If you are considering a large neighborhood… look at how many entrances there are compared to the number of homes.
This can be a source of pain if the flow is not right and some neighborhoods may add another 20 minutes just to get out in the morning… so be mindful.
Also, look at the placement of the house. Will every other homeowner be driving by yours so they can get home?
