Our Business Development Reps are on the frontline of introducing our innovative software tools to new and prospective customers. They identify sales growth opportunities for our software product in various target markets and create business strategies to attract new customers. They augment our digital marketing efforts with real boots on the ground by generating and cultivating direct sales leads into our sales funnel.

  • Business Development team members must become an expert user of our Clientown CRM tool in order to educate potential customers of the benefits of our tools
  • Utilize our Clientown CRM software to manage and nurture sales leads
  • Conduct high-level industry research to identify sales opportunities in various target markets
  • Create business strategies on how to attract new customers
  • Create procedures and workflows for our sales engagement process
  • Generate leads through cold calling prospective clients
  • Automate and maintain email messaging to prospective new customers to cultivate interest
  • Develop sales pitch decks for compelling reasons for Realtors to use our products
  • Lead our networking efforts at various trade shows
  • Attend and speak at various business group meetings at both a local and national level
  • Keep up with industry trends
  • Continually assess customer needs and identify how best our software tools can solve problems
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals from various sales channels
  • Create KPI metrics for evaluating sales conversions and report out weekly outcomes to leadership


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years experience in a Business Development, Sales Development, Sales Executive, or sales related role
  • Professional oral and written communication and strong organizational skills
  • Proven record of sales growth, and strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident and effective presentation skills, including demo experience pitching complex, multi-faceted topics both in-person and over various video conference tools
  • Tech-savvy with using CRM tools
  • Ability to learn quickly, act independently, and multi-task in a remote environment
  • Experience in the Real Estate industry is a plus
  • US resident
